WHAT WE BELIEVE

1. The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)

2. There is one God eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:16-17, 2            Corinthians 13:14).

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His          bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory. (John 1:1-2, 14, Colossians 2:9,              Romans 8:34, Hebrews 1:3, 1 John 3:5).

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in a regeneration by the Holy Spirit; and that         Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. The blood of Jesus Christ justifies man by grace through faith in Him. (Romans 10:9-13, Acts 4:12,

   Ephesians 2:8-9)

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. He teaches, comforts, and leads                   believers in truth. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for the endowment of power. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are for today, and are           best operated by believers who are growing in the fruits of the Spirit. (John 14:26, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40).

6. We believe in the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper:

Baptism: The ordinance of Baptism is observed, as a command in the Scriptures, to all who have repented and truly believe in Christ as Lord and                Savior. It is the declaration that one has died with Christ, and that they have been also raised with Him in new life (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38,

          Romans 6:3-4).

The Lord's Supper: We remember the death, burial, resurrection and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ through the ordinance of the Lord's Supper                and the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine. (Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:26)

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22)
